In the surrounding of the  village Avber worked 15 major quarries, to obtain a dark karst limestone for use in construction as arcihetuctural stone. Due to the beautiful structure with shells, the strength and resistance of the stone against external influences was at that time very highly-prized. Cavadurs were workers who were in a quarry in harsh conditions with manual tools and simple devices picked-up the stone blocks and prepare them for further processing. The present trail takes us to some quarries, but we will recognize also some other natural and cultural attractions in the vicinity of the village Avber. Walk through karstic heath and pine forest will release us and give new strength and energy for our daily work.
